Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position, requiring a current AZ or compact RN license and at least one year of specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting providing care on Med/Surg and Telemetry units
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• May work across multiple Med/Surg and Telemetry units
• No floating, call, or on-call responsibilities specified
• Roles involve providing direct and continuous care for Med/Surg and Telemetry patients
• Night shift assignment requires strong assessment and monitoring skills
• RTO (requested time off) requests must be less than 1 week
• Travelers must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience required
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the contract
• Must not have gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must not have been employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
