Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with 5+ years of hospital-based CT and angiogram experience, including trauma and 64-slice GE scanner proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Hospital-based CT scan department in a Level 1 trauma setting
- Primary procedures include CT scans, angiograms, and CT-guided biopsies
- Uses 64-slice GE CT scanners
- Shift is 5x8s, day/evening (9:00 AM – 6:30 PM) with weekend rotation
- EMR system is Epic and prior experience is preferred
- Responsibilities include performing trauma and routine CT procedures, biopsies, and angiograms
- Requires weekend rotation as part of the shift
- References must include two manager-level performance evaluations, with one dated within the past 12 months and the other within three years
- Preferred that one reference comes from the most recent travel or temporary assignment
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
- Monthly parking fees may apply
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in CT, angiograms, and CT-guided procedures in a hospital setting
- Experience working in a Level 1 trauma hospital required
- Active MA State Radiologic Technologist license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
- Active ARRT and ARRT CT certifications required
- Current BLS certification required
- High skill level with 64-slice GE CT scanners
- Minimum 18 months of experience in the CT specialty
