Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Labor & Delivery position requiring current TN or compact RN license and advanced fetal monitoring certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in a Labor & Delivery unit within Women's Services
Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Provides care to obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum
Responsibilities include admission, monitoring, labor support, delivery, and post-delivery care for mothers and newborns
No local candidates accepted; must live outside a 50 mile radius
A complete profile with application, license verification, skills checklist, references, and copies of certifications is required for consideration

Requirements

Active TN or compact RN license required
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
Current certifications: AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced or Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring or NCCEFM, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced 9th Edition
Professional references required: one for most states, two for Florida and Missouri
Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
