Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with outpatient CT experience and proficiency in Epic charting for a travel contract in Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient imaging setting with a focus on CT procedures
• Uses GE and Canon/Toshiba CT machines, GE experience preferred
• Day shifts, 3x12 hours, 9:00 to 21:30 with a rotating schedule including some weekends
• Travelers may be required to float to a nearby sister hospital
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Performs diagnostic quality CT procedures in accordance with ARRT guidelines
• Strict RTO policy with no changes allowed after submittal
• First time travelers are welcome
• No distance radius; local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Must be gone 6 months before returning as a traveler
• Travel pairs must be indicated at application
• May float to sister hospital as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved imaging technology program
• Active Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license in radiography required (no pending)
• Registered with ARRT in radiography
• Licensed in CT by OBMI or registered in CT by ARRT
• American Heart Association BLS required within 90 days of hire
• 1-2 years of recent outpatient CT experience required
• IV skills required
• COVID vaccination required with no exemptions
