Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Tech experienced in both CT and diagnostic imaging to join a small rural hospital team in California.

Responsibilities

• Work in a small rural hospital setting
• Responsibilities include both CT and standard radiologic imaging modalities
• Primarily adult and geriatric patient population
• 3x12 hour shifts per week with shared evening and weekend call
• Ability to perform imaging across multiple modalities with proficiency
• Responsible for performing and optimizing imaging exams per physician orders
• Expected to demonstrate strong patient positioning and image quality skills
• Must work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision
• Required to maintain strict patient confidentiality and accurate documentation
• Involvement in department compliance with federal and state regulations
• May assist with scheduling, supply stocking, equipment monitoring, and quality control activities
• Flexibility to adjust schedule for staffing needs including holidays and call coverage
• Collaborative team environment with shared responsibilities across the department

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program with an Associate of Science degree
• Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting preferred
• Experience in at least two imaging modalities
• Experience in a freestanding diagnostic imaging facility may substitute for acute care experience
• License required if applicable
