Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric IV Therapy Vascular Access Team role requiring pediatric vascular access and ultrasound-guided IV skills.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care hospital on the Pediatric IV Therapy Vascular Access Team
- Care for pediatric through adult populations requiring vascular access procedures
- Responsibilities include ultrasound-guided IV placement and use of vein finder technology
- Shifts are 12 hours with a rotation between day and night shifts (starts at 7 AM, 11 AM, or 7 PM, 3x12 schedule)
- Weekend shifts are required
- Uses EPIC for charting
- Must be able to provide vascular access for pediatric and adult patients
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Local candidates are accepted; pay differential applies within 50 miles
- Facility is a Magnet hospital with a Level III/IV NICU and Level I Trauma center
- Any solid color scrubs required for all units

Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years pediatric vascular access team experience
- Experience with ultrasound-guided IV placement and vein finder required
- BLS certification required
- Pediatric Vascular Access (VAS), HemeOnc, or ICU experience required
