Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Illinois requiring a current IL RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Work in an operating room setting within a hospital environment
Provide perioperative care to surgical patients
Assignment duration is 13 weeks
Call is required as needed
Shift details to be determined
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Responsible for maintaining accurate medical records and delivering patient education
Expected to demonstrate clinical judgment and report changes in patient condition
Must contribute to a healthy workplace environment using professional communication skills
Participation in continuing education is encouraged

Requirements

Current and active Illinois RN license required
Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
