Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with outpatient experience and IV skills for night shifts using GE and Toshiba/Canon equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work in an outpatient-focused CT department
• Night shifts with a schedule of 3x12 hours from 17:30 to 06:00
• 13-week contract assignment
• GE and Toshiba/Canon CT scanner experience required, GE experience preferred
• Epic EMR charting is required
• May float to a nearby sister hospital as needed
• Participate in diagnostic quality CT procedures in compliance with ARRT guidelines
• Strict rules for requesting time off; RTO must be declared during submission and cannot be changed after
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Scrub attire is required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years CT technologist experience in an outpatient setting
• Graduate of an imaging technology program approved by licensing bodies
• Active Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license in radiography (no pending licenses accepted, license required if applicable)
• Current ARRT registration in radiography
• Either CT-licensed by OBMI or CT-registered by ARRT
• BLS certification from the AHA within 90 days of hire
• Must have IV skills
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• COVID vaccination required with no exemptions
• Return staff must be gone at least 6 months to be eligible
