Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring a TN or compact RN license and advanced fetal monitoring certification.

Responsibilities

Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Care for women during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum period
Assignment duration is 13 weeks
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout labor and delivery
Participation in holiday coverage may be required depending on schedule needs
Professional references required for employment consideration
Must submit complete documentation including application, credential copies, and references as part of the hiring process

Requirements

Active TN or compact state RN license
Minimum of 1 year recent Labor & Delivery experience required
Advanced AWHONN fetal monitoring or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification required
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (Advanced 9th Edition) required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
No gaps in employment of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
Must reside outside a 50 mile radius from the facility; local candidates not accepted
