Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel Med/Surg Spine Unit night shift position in Colorado with a current CO or compact RN license and at least one year of recent Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Med/Surg Spine Unit
• Patient population includes spine cases and medical-surgical admissions
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel contract
• Provide care to patients recovering from spine and other medical-surgical procedures
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Required to maintain up-to-date certifications; expiring certifications within 30 days of assignment start are not accepted
• Teamwork and collaboration with multidisciplinary staff is expected

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum one year of recent Med/Surg RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
• Must not have work history gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two if licensed in FL or MO)
• No local candidates; must live outside a 50-mile radius
