Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Oncology unit, requiring a CA RN license and 2 years of pediatric oncology experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Pediatric Oncology unit
Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 to 19:30)
Provides care to pediatric oncology and hematology patients
Uses Epic EMR; experience preferred
Administer oncolytic therapies and provide specialized care to pediatric oncology patients
May be expected to care for hematology/oncology patient population
Chemo administration skills are advantageous for this role

Requirements

Active CA RN license required
AHA BLS and PALS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in pediatric oncology or inpatient oncology nursing
APHON and Chemotherapy (ONS/ONCC) certifications preferred
Epic EMR experience preferred
Hematology/oncology experience preferred
