Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Oncology unit, requiring a CA RN license and 2 years of pediatric oncology experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Pediatric Oncology unit
- Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 to 19:30)
- Provides care to pediatric oncology and hematology patients
- Uses Epic EMR; experience preferred
- Administer oncolytic therapies and provide specialized care to pediatric oncology patients
- May be expected to care for hematology/oncology patient population
- Chemo administration skills are advantageous for this role
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- AHA BLS and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in pediatric oncology or inpatient oncology nursing
- APHON and Chemotherapy (ONS/ONCC) certifications preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Hematology/oncology experience preferred
