Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of recent cath lab experience for a travel assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab
- Performs procedures and responsibilities within the cath lab tech scope of practice
- Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM
- Rotating call requirement: 5 weekdays and 1 weekend every 6 weeks
- Floating within facility and within clinical scope as needed
- Weekend work included in call rotation
- Candidates must be able to work major holidays per facility holiday policy
- No blocked scheduling is allowed
- Maximum of 7 days requested time off (RTO) permitted, excluding the first week of assignment
- Travel pairs are not permitted to work the same shift on the same unit
- Returning travelers must have been away from all Piedmont facilities for at least one year
- Travelers who are not eligible to return to a facility must complete one successful assignment elsewhere before reapplying
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of cath lab technologist experience required
- Not accepting first-time travelers for this position
- Two supervisory references from a manager or higher required for consideration
- License required if applicable
