Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a day shift position with call coverage and 2+ years required experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab
- Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM
- Call requirements include 5 weekday calls and 1 weekend call every 6 weeks
- Floating may be required within facility and scope of practice as needed
- Weekend and holiday work required according to assignment period
- Full compliance with documentation is required to start on time
- If one major holiday falls within assignment, traveler must work it; if two, both must be worked; if three, two must be worked
- Cannot request time off during the first week of the assignment and may take a maximum of 7 days RTO
- Must have been away for at least one full year from all previous assignments at relevant facilities to return as a traveler
- Travel pairs are not permitted to be scheduled for the same shift on the same unit
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- No blocked scheduling allowed
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years cath lab experience required
- Must have current relevant license if applicable
- Position does not accept first-time travelers
- Two supervisory references required for consideration
