Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of recent cath lab experience and call flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab setting
- Day shifts with a 4x10 hour schedule, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- Required to take call: 5 weekdays and 1 weekend every 6 weeks
- Potential to float within facility or within scope of practice as needed
- Weekend work is included as part of the call schedule
- Local candidates are accepted
- Travelers are expected to work certain major holidays depending on assignment duration
- Return travelers must have been away from all facilities in the system for a full year to be eligible
- No blocked scheduling is permitted
- Request for time off is not allowed during the first week, with a maximum of 7 days off approved per assignment
- Travel pairs cannot be assigned the same shift on the same unit
- Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time; delays may postpone start date due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a cath lab environment
- Unit does not accept first-time travelers
- License required if applicable
- Must provide two supervisory references (manager level or above) for consideration
