Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1.5 years of acute care experience and BLS, with flexibility to float between facilities in CT and RI.

Responsibilities

• Position is at a short-term acute care Level III trauma center
• Work on evening shifts from 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM with required call and weekend coverage as needed
• Role requires floating between facilities in Connecticut and Rhode Island
• Department uses GE CT equipment
• Charting is performed using Epic EMR
• Patient population spans various acute care needs within a 252-bed environment
• Candidates must be willing to float between two facility locations as needed
• Facility can automatically approve up to 7 days of requested time off
• No local radius rule for CT Techs and local candidates will be considered
• Returning staff must have a 2-year separation before being eligible as a traveler
• Free parking is provided
• Scrub color or dress code requirements will be communicated during onboarding

Requirements

• Minimum of 1.5 years hospital experience as a CT Technologist required
• Current BLS certification required
• Must obtain and maintain CT and RI state licenses; license required if applicable
• Experience operating GE CT equipment required
• Flu vaccination required with no declinations accepted
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required unless a religious or medical exemption is approved
