Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with outpatient orthopedic experience for an 8-hour day shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in an outpatient therapy clinic specializing in athletic, sports, and orthopedic patient populations
- Typical caseload is 12-14 patients per day with double-booking of follow-up visits expected
- Productivity expectation is 60 visits per week
- Work schedule is 8-hour day shifts with 36-40 hours per week
- No call or floating to other clinics is required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Team-oriented environment with no float requirement
- Athletic, orthopedic, and sports patient focus
- Requests for overtime must be approved by the director
- Candidates local to within 50 miles of the clinic are eligible
Requirements
- Active PT license required if applicable
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant PT experience preferred; new grads will not be considered
- Outpatient experience is preferred
- Must be able to handle busy caseloads and double bookings
