Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 18 months recent CT experience and ARRT (R, CT) certification for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital imaging department with two CT units, including a 64-slice CT with bariatric capability and 3D imaging stations
• Equipment includes Canon Aquilion Prime, Toshiba Aquilian One, and Aquilion 1 Genesis scanners
• Work alongside board-certified radiologists and certified technologists
• Scheduled for 4x10 hour night shifts each week
• Includes call coverage 3-4 times per month and weekend/holiday shifts as needed
• Patient population includes those needing trauma-level imaging and coronary screenings
• Core responsibilities include performing advanced CT scans, coronary screening 3D imaging, and trauma-level exams
• All radiologists in the department are board-certified and technologists are registered in their modalities
• Holiday and weekend work is required as scheduled
• Maximum of 5 days RTO (Requested Time Off) can be requested

Requirements

• A minimum of 18 months of recent CT experience is required
• Experience with Canon Aquilion Prime, Toshiba Aquilian One, and Aquilion 1 Genesis CT equipment is required
• Active CA Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT (R, CT), and BLS certification are required (license required if applicable)
• Venipuncture certification is required
• CA Fluoroscopy license is highly preferred
• Trauma I facility CT experience is required
• COVID vaccination and booster required if applicable
• At least one supervisor reference must be provided for consideration
• CT skills checklist completed within the past 12 months is required
