Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position with 2 years of recent L&D experience and multiple required certifications.

Responsibilities

Position is in a Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Weekend and on-call schedules will be determined by the facility
13-week contract assignment
Responsible for comprehensive assessment, care planning, and education for Labor & Delivery patients and families
Must coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and manage patient care issues as they arise
Required to provide two supervisory references from within the last 12 months
Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted for this assignment

Requirements

Active RN license in Maryland or compact state, valid at time of consideration
Minimum of 24 months recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
Certifications required: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA NRP, NIHSS, EFM, and AWHONN
COVID vaccination required; declinations not accepted
Skills checklist specific to Labor & Delivery must be provided
