Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care inpatient hospital position with weekend coverage and Meditech experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient acute care hospital setting
• Scheduled Friday through Monday each week to provide weekend coverage
• Day shifts with 10-hour shifts from 7:30 to 18:00
• Uses Meditech EMR, with prior experience highly preferred
• Responsibilities include providing physical therapy services to acute care patients during weekend shifts
• Must complete modules as part of orientation, which are non-billable
• Travel pairs are accepted for this position
• Former permanent employees must wait 12 months before eligibility to return as travelers
• Requested time off must be submitted with initial application

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapy license required if applicable
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Experience in an inpatient acute care hospital setting preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR highly preferred
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security Number required
