Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced with Siemens equipment and holding advanced CT certification for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital computerized tomography department
• Night shifts Monday through Thursday from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, working 4x10-hour shifts
• Role requires previous Siemens CT equipment experience
• Patient population includes both adults and pediatrics
• Procedures include standard CT imaging, multi-planar and 3D reconstruction, and both oral and IV contrast administration
• Image management is performed using PACS, EMR (Epic), and IMPAX service tools
• Duties include verifying patient identification, obtaining patient history, administering contrast, and ensuring image quality and accuracy
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work environment and proper image documentation in PACS and EMR systems
• Additional responsibilities include correlating imaging reports with patient charts and precepting new staff or students
• Candidates are expected to volunteer for challenging tasks and contribute to department workflow and improvement
• Must report to the lab for drug screening within 24 hours of employment commitment

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science
• Registry with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible; diploma must be provided if registry eligible
• Advanced certification in CT is required
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (HCP BLS) certification must be current
• Prior experience with Siemens CT systems is mandatory
• License required if applicable
