Job Description

American Traveler seeks a CT Technologist with at least 18 months of CT experience, ARRT certification, and current BLS for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 194 staffed beds
• Work in the CT department performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures
• Day shifts, 3x12 hours from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Includes 1 rotating weekend per month and 1 call weekend per month
• No floating outside CT department required for this position
• Patient handling may require maneuvering equipment and improvising positioning for non-routine cases
• Uses GE equipment with Cerner EMR for charting, Cerner experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays as part of assignment
• Royal blue scrubs are required
• Free parking is provided on site
• Returning staff must have a 12-month break in service before being eligible for traveler positions
• RTO of up to 5 days can be auto-approved

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Active ARRT certification in CT or advanced certification through ARRT or NMTCB (can be pending at consideration)
• Current BLS certification (AHA or RQI accepted)
• IN state license or Compact license required by start date; pending accepted for consideration if start is 2-4 weeks out (license required if applicable)
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Ability to maneuver and operate CT equipment in challenging patient scenarios
