Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of specialty experience and active licensure for a 4x10 day shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab setting
• Adult cardiovascular and electrophysiology patient population
• Uses Epic for electronic medical records
• Shift consists of four 10-hour day shifts per week
• On-call duties are required as part of the schedule
• Must provide documentation for all required licensure and certifications
• Perm staff must have a minimum one-year separation from the facility to be eligible
• Compliance and background check processes may delay start dates if results are not received by due dates
• Candidates are expected to report to the lab for drug screening within 24 hours of commitment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience working in Cath Lab or Electrophysiology
• Bachelor's degree in a health science program from an accredited institution, or graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or Nursing program
• Active UT state license required if applicable
• A valid certification: CCI-RCIS, CCI-RCES, or ARRT(R) is required
• Current BLS through AHA is required and must not expire prior to assignment start
• Radiation badge required
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
