Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position in Michigan requiring Cath Lab RN experience and active MI RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Cath Lab setting
• Patient population includes those undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Use of specialized Cath Lab equipment including intraaortic balloon pump
• Epic EMR system is utilized
• Schedule requests must be made prior to consideration
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• Primary responsibilities include providing nursing care during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• No more than 5 days of time off can be requested for the duration of the assignment
• Selected candidates must provide copies of all licensure and certifications for consideration

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA) required
• Cath Lab RN experience required
• Interventional radiology experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Electrophysiology experience preferred
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation preferred
• Experience with intraaortic balloon pumps preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
