Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a valid TN or compact RN license and advanced fetal monitoring certification.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel contract
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring women and newborns
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting
• Follows established hospital protocols and participates in patient/family education
• Scrub and dress code details to be provided upon assignment
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Current BLS (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Current Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) 9th Edition certification
• Intermediate or advanced AWHONN or NCC EFM fetal monitoring certification
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• At least one professional reference required (two if licensed in FL or MO)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or longer in the past 12 months
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility; no local candidates accepted
