Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 18 months of recent breast imaging experience and active ARRT, Mammography, and MA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a breast imaging/mammography department within a Level 1 Trauma Hospital setting
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with flexibility to adjust shift start and end times as needed
• Some Saturday coverage may be required based on department needs
• This is a 13-week assignment with 8-hour day shifts and no call required
• Responsibilities include performing mammography exams and supporting breast imaging operations
• Flexible to adjust work hours and cover Saturdays if needed for department coverage
• Dress code or scrub requirements may be specified by the department
• Internal and local candidates are accepted at the same rate for this position
• Candidates are responsible for any applicable monthly parking fees
• License required if applicable

Requirements

• Active MA state license required at time of consideration
• Active ARRT and BLS certifications required
• Mammography certification required
• Minimum 18 months of experience in mammography or similar setting required
• Level 1 trauma hospital experience required
• Two professional references are required, one of which must be from a manager
