Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 18 months of recent breast imaging experience and active ARRT, Mammography, and MA licensure.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a breast imaging/mammography department within a Level 1 Trauma Hospital setting
- Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with flexibility to adjust shift start and end times as needed
- Some Saturday coverage may be required based on department needs
- This is a 13-week assignment with 8-hour day shifts and no call required
- Responsibilities include performing mammography exams and supporting breast imaging operations
- Flexible to adjust work hours and cover Saturdays if needed for department coverage
- Dress code or scrub requirements may be specified by the department
- Internal and local candidates are accepted at the same rate for this position
- Candidates are responsible for any applicable monthly parking fees
- License required if applicable
Requirements
- Active MA state license required at time of consideration
- Active ARRT and BLS certifications required
- Mammography certification required
- Minimum 18 months of experience in mammography or similar setting required
- Level 1 trauma hospital experience required
- Two professional references are required, one of which must be from a manager
