Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a MRI Technologist for a night shift position requiring ARRT (R) (MR) certification and two years of recent MRI experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based MRI department
- Night shifts, Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM
- Weekend requirement is Friday as part of the schedule with on-call duty every 5th weekend
- On-call required 1-2 nights per week from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM and 24-hour call every 5th weekend
- No floating required from the MRI unit
- Philips MRI equipment experience preferred
- Uses Centricity for charting
- Local travelers within 50 miles are accepted at a different rate
- First-time travelers are welcome for this assignment
- Candidates must provide two professional references from a supervisor within the past two years and copies of current certifications
Requirements
- ARRT (R) (MR) certification required
- BLS required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent MRI technologist experience required
- Valid state license or certification required if applicable
