Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a BSN-prepared RN with a California license and pediatric diabetes education experience for an Outpatient Pediatrics position.

Responsibilities

Work in an outpatient pediatrics setting
Day shifts, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
No weekends or UC holidays required
Shift schedule requires flexibility in days worked
May float to other units and facilities as needed
Educate pediatric patients and families on diabetes management and medications
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an outpatient environment
No holiday or weekend coverage required

Requirements

Current CA RN license
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification required
Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience, including pediatric diabetes education and diabetes medications experience
Willingness and ability to float to other facilities and units
Preferred: At least 1 year of ambulatory care experience
