Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for night shifts with at least one year of recent trauma and Siemens CT experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a CT department serving IP and/or OP settings
• Care for patients of all ages, from neonates to older adults
• Night shifts on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Performs Abdomen/Pelvis, Chest, Head/Neck, Spine/Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, and CTA procedures
• Experience with Multiplanar Reconstruction, Aspirations/Biopsies, Drainage, and CCTA is preferred
• Must be proficient in the use of Siemens CT equipment
• Preparation and administration of contrast media and starting IVs required
• Uses Epic for charting and PACS for imaging management
• Must adhere to isolation precautions when necessary
• Main responsibilities include performing a wide range of CT procedures, preparing and administering contrast, and starting IVs
• Must be able to operate Siemens CT equipment and work independently
• Requires strict infection control and handling isolation precautions
• Study guides and orientation materials are provided online prior to start
• EKG assessment must be passed before beginning first shift
• Smoke-free facility
• Local candidates within 60 miles considered at a different rate

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year recent CT experience with trauma patients required
• Experience using Siemens CT equipment required
• Current BLS certification via AHA required
• ARRT-CT certification required
• Must be able to perform procedures across all age groups
• Epic experience required
• Florida or compact state license required for consideration; license required if applicable
• All certifications must be current at time of consideration
• Proof of full vaccination required; declinations not accepted
• Pass/fail EKG testing is required
