Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient orthopedic position with potential for some inpatient coverage, welcoming both new grads and first-time travelers.

Responsibilities

• Work is primarily in an outpatient orthopedic therapy setting with opportunity for some inpatient coverage
• Responsible for 12-14 patients per day with a productivity expectation of 60 visits per week
• Double-booking of follow-up visits is expected
• Shift is 8-hour days with an expectation of up to 40 hours per week
• No floating to other clinics required
• No on-call requirements
• Candidates may have the option to work in a travel team in this clinic or a neighboring clinic
• OT hours must be approved by director before being worked
• Productivity is measured by completed visits and follows double-booking protocols
• Internal local candidate pay may differ if living within 50 miles of the facility

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist license required if applicable
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required
• Open to new grads and first-time travelers
