Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for overnight 10-hour shifts requiring ARRT certification and a NY license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital radiology department
• Work schedule is Sunday through Wednesday from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM (four 10-hour night shifts)
• Rotating holiday coverage is required
• No on-call is required for this position
• Unit specializes in CT imaging using quality control and safety procedures
• Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility as local candidates will not be considered
• References from a Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager within the past year in the specialty are required for consideration
• Rotating holidays are part of the scheduled duties

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year CT experience required
• Current ARRT certification is required
• Active New York state license is required; license required if applicable
• Ability to perform and prioritize patient care in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of CT quality control, medical and surgical aseptic procedures, anatomical positioning, and safety protocols
