Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of recent CT experience and required Siemens equipment proficiency for a travel assignment in an adult acute care hospital setting in Broward County, FL.

Responsibilities

• Adult acute care hospital CT department serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Required procedures include Abdomen/Pelvis, Chest, Head/Neck, Spine/Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTA, preparation and administration of contrast media, and starting peripheral IVs
• Preferred procedures include Multiplanar Reconstruction, Coronary CTA (CCTA), Aspirations, Biopsies, and Drainage
• Uses Siemens CT equipment and PACS; Siemens experience is required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Schedule: Monday 8:30 AM–9:00 PM and Tuesday–Friday 7:30 AM–3:00 PM with call
• 13-week contract
• This is a smoke-free facility
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are considered; local candidates are subject to a reduced pay rate
• Former permanent employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years before returning as a traveler
• All required certifications must be in hand prior to consideration
• Candidates must complete pre-start orientation modules prior to their start date
• Candidates must pass facility competency testing with a minimum 70% overall score and 100% in lethal rhythms/basic arrhythmia section
• Hurricane sign-up is required as a condition of the assignment

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience
• Trauma experience required
• Hands-on experience with Siemens CT equipment required
• ARRT-CT certification required
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC required
• Active FL or compact RN license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with adult acute care patient population required
• Proficiency with isolation precautions/PPE required
