Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 5+ years of CT experience, including angiograms and CT-guided procedures, in a hospital-based imaging department requiring Level I Trauma experience.
Responsibilities
- Hospital-based CT imaging department
- PM night shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours with start times of 7:00 PM, 9:00 PM, or 11:00 PM depending on department needs
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- On-call rotation required
- Uses 64-slice GE scanners and Philips equipment
- Epic EMR experience required
- Perform CT scans, angiograms, and CT-guided procedures such as biopsies
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
- A reference from a most recent temporary or travel assignment is preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CT scanning, angiograms, and CT-guided procedures (e.g., biopsies) in a hospital setting
- Level I Trauma hospital experience required
- Active ARRT and ARRT CT certification required
- Active BLS required
- Active MA Radiation License required (license required if applicable)
- Proficiency with 64-slice GE scanners and Philips equipment preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration: at least one must be from a manager-level or above (not a supervisor), one must include a performance evaluation within the last 12 months, and the second may be within the last 3 years
- References from fellow travelers are not accepted
