Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced travel RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position requiring a minimum of 3 years of LDRP experience, active fetal monitoring certification, and prior travel nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a combined Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Antepartum, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit within a suburban hospital setting
• Located approximately one hour from both Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Rotating weekends and holidays required; block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Cross-training between antepartum and postpartum areas is expected
• Responsibilities span the full LDRP scope including labor and delivery, recovery, antepartum, and postpartum care
• Candidates must be prepared to cross-train and float between antepartum and postpartum as needed

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand — no exceptions
• Current BLS certification required
• Active fetal monitoring certification required: C-EFM preferred; AWHONN Intermediate accepted, but C-EFM must be obtained if contract extensions meet or exceed 1 year from the initial contract start date
• Minimum 3 years of current, hands-on LDRP experience required
• RN acute care experience required
• Antepartum and EFM experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
