Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience and dual ARRT certification in CT and Radiology for a 16-week travel assignment in a hospital radiology department.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based radiology department performing CT and multi-modality imaging
• 8-hour rotating day and evening shifts, with occasional nights when absolutely needed
• Schedule runs Monday through Sunday with no block scheduling
• A minimum of every other weekend required, with scheduling adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs
• Philips equipment experience preferred
• Epic EMR used; experience from within the past 2 years is required
• Perform CT and multi-modality radiology imaging procedures
• Bi-weekly orientations are held on Mondays
• Public transportation is not accessible in this area; a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April
• Candidates with a New York license in pending status will be considered with proof of pending licensure included
• Any employment gaps over 90 days should be prepared to be explained
• Complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type is required

Requirements

• ARRT certification in both CT and Radiography required
• Minimum of 3 years of CT and radiology experience required
• Epic EMR experience from within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• At least two professional references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor required for consideration — one from within the past 6 months, and one from within the past year of employment
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• License required if applicable
