Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a multimodality role requiring CT, radiography, and mammography experience, along with prior travel experience and NY state licensure.

Details

• 20-week contract in a hospital-based CT/Radiology department
• CT unit uses a Philips Ingenuity 64; radiology rooms are GE with Fuji digital plates; portable x-ray unit is a Philips digital
• Multimodality coverage required across CT, general radiology, and mammography
• 12-hour day shifts with a Monday–Sunday schedule
• No block scheduling for any reason
• Schedule is adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs, with a minimum of every other weekend required
• Epic EMR used on-site

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT/radiology experience required; 5 years preferred
• Prior travel experience required
• CT ARRT, Rad ARRT, and Mammography certifications required
• NY injection certification required
• NY state license required; proof of pending application with applied date accepted if license is required (license required if applicable)
• Epic experience within the past 2 years required
• Mammography experience required
• Two professional references required — at least one from a supervisor or manager within the past 6 months, and one from within the past year of employment
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Biweekly orientations held on Mondays
• Public transportation is not accessible in this area; a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
• Any employment gaps of more than 90 days should be explained
• Complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type is required for consideration
