Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with multimodality experience in CT, X-ray, and Mammography for a 20-week travel assignment in Ticonderoga, NY, requiring prior travel experience and EPIC proficiency.

Details

• CT Scan unit within a community hospital setting
• Multimodality role covering CT, general X-ray (radiography), and Mammography
• CT unit uses a Philips Ingenuity 64-slice scanner
• X-ray rooms are GE units with Fuji digital plates; portable X-ray unit is a Philips digital
• 12-hour evening shifts
• Schedule runs Monday through Sunday with a minimum of every other weekend required
• Schedule may be adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs
• No block scheduling is permitted
• Charts in Epic EMR
• 20-week contract with potential extension up to 32 weeks

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required; 5 years preferred
• Prior travel experience required
• CT ARRT, Radiology ARRT, and Mammography certifications required
• NY injection certification required
• NY state license required, or proof of application with applied date (license if applicable)
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
• Mammography experience and NY Mammography certification required
• At least two professional references from a nurse manager and/or supervisor (one from within the past 6 months, one from within the past year) required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Reliable personal transportation required — public transportation is not accessible in this area

Additional Information

• Performs CT imaging, general radiography, and mammography based on unit needs
• Bi-weekly orientations begin on Mondays; candidates should confirm the next available orientation date
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
• This is an interview-to-offer (ITO) position
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained in the candidate profile
• All work history must include facility bed count, EMR system, and facility type
