Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in an acute care setting with remote telemetry, requiring at least 1 year of experience and a night shift schedule.

Details

• Acute care Med/Surg unit with 32 beds and remote telemetry monitoring
• Telemetry is ordered per patient and monitored 24/7
• Patient population includes stable vent patients, BiPAP patients, acute/chronic renal failure, dialysis, fluid overload, and general medical/surgical patients under internal medicine, family practice, and hospitalist overflow physicians
• IV drips administered include Dopamine (5mcg constant rate for renal perfusion only, no titration) and Heparin
• Charting system: Cerner
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IN RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• BSN not required
• Med/Surg acute care experience required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
• Candidates residing between 50 and 100 miles may be considered at a reduced pay rate
• No orientation hours included with this assignment
