Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for an inpatient hospital MRI unit, requiring ARRT (R)(MR) certification and hands-on experience with Siemens MRI equipment and Epic EMR.
Details
- Inpatient hospital MRI unit
- Siemens MRI equipment in use, including Skyra, Vida, Aera, Sola, and Vida Fit models
- Epic EMR in use
- Pediatric patient population exposure in addition to general inpatient cases
- Schedule: Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 11:00 AM – 12:30 AM (13.5-hour shifts)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- ARRT (R)(MR) certification required
- BLS certification via AHA required
- Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI equipment required
- Inpatient hospital MRI experience required
- Experience at a large acute care facility (500+ bed count) required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Pediatric MRI experience preferred but not required
- License required if applicable
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- 1 reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs diagnostic MRI of organs, organ systems, and blood flow studies to provide radiologists with images for comprehensive diagnostic reporting
- Orients physicians, residents, staff, and student technologists in MRI objectives, applications, and safety protocols
- Assists nursing staff as needed, including witnessing medication waste and documenting in Pyxis
- Reports to the MRI Manager or Chief Imaging Technologist
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
