Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist with scrub experience and at least 1-2 years of IR experience for a 13-week assignment at a major academic medical center in New Orleans.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit at a large academic health system in New Orleans, LA
- 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- On-call required with a 30-minute response time
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of IR experience required; candidates with 1 year of experience will be considered if they have both neuro IR and scrub experience
- Scrub experience required
- Prior travel experience required
- Neuro IR experience is a plus but not required
- All certifications must be AHA-issued
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must live 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- In the event of a declared emergency, staff may be assigned to an emergency response team and expected to remain at the facility or serve as part of a relief team until the event has passed
- RTO requests should be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
