Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a pediatric imaging department at a Level II trauma facility, requiring ARRT-CT certification and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

  • Pediatric imaging department at a newly built (opened May 2026) 152-bed Level II trauma facility, including a 70-bed NICU, in Tacoma, WA
  • Patient population is pediatric, ages 0–18, covering all diagnoses and case types
  • Equipment includes Siemens Definition Edge and Biograph MCT Flow Edge PET/CT scanner
  • 10-hour night shifts, 7 shifts per 70-hour pay period, Thursday through Wednesday, 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • 35 hours per week
  • Weekend rotation dependent on shift assigned
  • On-call is possible but limited to off-hours and weekends, not to exceed 24 hours per month
  • No floating required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience; pediatric experience preferred
  • ARRT-CT certification and current BLS required
  • WA state license required if applicable
  • Strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and a patient, kind demeanor when working with children and their families
  • Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • At least one supervisor-level reference required for consideration, with a second required prior to start (must be from Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, or above)
