Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week assignment at an acute care hospital in Mission Viejo, CA, with EP experience strongly preferred.

Details

Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a 488-bed acute care hospital in Mission Viejo, CA
Day shifts, 4x10-hour schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Weekends required at a minimum of every other weekend, with likelihood of exceeding that frequency
On-call required approximately 8 days per month
May be required to float to a nearby sister facility in Laguna Beach
Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
Free parking available on-site

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
EP experience strongly preferred
Current BLS and Fluoroscopy Permit required
Active CA state license required (license required if applicable); pending licenses not accepted
Epic EMR experience required
Must be able to fulfill on-call and weekend scheduling requirements
At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
SSN and DOB required for consideration
Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Additional Information

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration; post-offer RTO requests are subject to denial
Block schedule accommodations are at the discretion of the hiring manager
Scrub color for OR techs is provided by the facility
