Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with CA licensure and experience performing trauma CT and stroke protocol studies for a night shift contract position.

Details

• CT Scan unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Patient population includes trauma patients requiring specialized CT procedures
• Procedures include routine and specialized CT, stroke protocol CTA Head and Perfusion studies
• 4x10 night shifts, Monday–Thursday from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call requirements; voluntary call-back opportunities available
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Current BLS certification required
• CA CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) license required if applicable
• CA Fluoroscopy Certification required
• Experience performing CT procedures on trauma patients, including stroke protocol (CTA Head and Perfusion studies)
• 2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Competently performs routine and specialized CT procedures to produce quality diagnostic images for physicians and other healthcare providers
• Works independently, applying sound clinical judgment to execute safe and precise procedures in a timely manner
• Responsible for patient assessment, monitoring, and clear communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Former employees or travelers must have been away from this facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only one holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
