Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift position at a busy Level III Trauma Center community hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and NY licensure.

Details

• Work in a busy general Radiology department covering inpatient, ED, and outpatient scheduled and walk-in exams
• Level III Trauma Center serving all ages from newborn to geriatric patients
• CT is the primary focus, with ability to assist with general X-ray as needed
• ED experience is part of the scope, supporting a high-volume emergency department
• Procedures include abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, vascular CTA, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma scans, with and/or without contrast
• PACS system used; Epic EMR experience preferred
• 3x12-hour night shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• No on-call requirements
• No holiday coverage required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Current ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
• NY state license required if applicable
• Community hospital experience required
• Experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department settings
• Proficiency with PACS and contrast media preparation and administration
• Experience with vascular CTA and musculoskeletal trauma imaging
• Preferred: general X-ray experience including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal procedures

• Overnight staffing is handled by a separate technologist covering both CT and X-ray; this role focuses on evening and weekend coverage
