Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Siemens scanner proficiency for a night shift contract at an acute care hospital in Missouri.

Details

Acute care hospital setting with 233 staffed beds
CT unit handling a varying mix of inpatient and ED cases
Facility operates 3 Siemens CT scanners
Typically 2 technologists working together per shift, with occasional solo shifts
Night shifts, Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
Charting via Epic; experience required
No on-call requirements
No floating to other units or sister facilities required

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
ARRT and ARRT Advanced certifications required
Current BLS required
Siemens CT scanner experience required
Valid Missouri state license required at time of consideration; pending Illinois license acceptable for IL-licensed candidates
Epic EMR experience required
Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Pewter scrubs required
Free parking available on site
No more than 7 days of RTO allowed per 13-week contract; no RTO during the first week of orientation
Travelers may remain at BJC facilities for a maximum of 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required
Allied and non-clinical travelers may remain for up to 12 months, followed by a mandatory 6-month break
Former permanent employees of any BJC facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
