Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 16-week night shift contract in a hospital Radiology CT Scan unit, requiring ARRT CT certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Details

Hospital-based Radiology CT Scan unit
12-hour night shifts, rotating between 7:00 PM–7:00 AM and 3:00 PM–3:00 AM
Schedule runs Monday through Sunday with no block schedules permitted
Minimum of every other weekend required, with schedule adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs
Call and holiday coverage required as scheduled
Floating is not required
Epic EMR used

Requirements

ARRT CT certification and NY injection certification required
Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
Epic EMR experience from within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
NY state license required, or proof of application with applied date (note: NY licensing typically takes 6–8 weeks)
License required if applicable
At least two professional references from a nurse manager and/or supervisor required for consideration — one from within the past 6 months and one from within the past year of employment
SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

Bi-weekly orientations are held on Mondays
All employment gaps of 90 days or more must be explained
This position is offered through an interview-to-offer process
Public transportation is not accessible in this area — a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility (measured in a straight line) are eligible at a local pay rate; those living 51–100 miles away qualify for a standard travel rate
