Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatrics position requiring chemotherapy/oncology experience, APHON certification, and night shift availability.

Details

• General pediatrics unit serving hem/onc, orthopedic, and surgical patient populations
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) required
• Floating to PICU and NICU required for appropriate assignments, with potential float to additional units based on skill set and hospital needs
• Charting system: Epic

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, and APHON
• Preferred certifications: NRP, OCN
• Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience required
• General pediatrics experience required
• Chemotherapy/oncology experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two current professional references required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted
• Navy scrubs required
• Any RTO or schedule requests must be submitted upfront at the time of consideration
• Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Block scheduling and special scheduling requests cannot be accommodated unless approved at time of booking
