Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 3+ years of hospital-based experience, including trauma, for a CT Scan unit position working Monday–Thursday, 10:00 AM–8:00 PM with call rotation.

Details

• CT Scan department within a 250-bed acute care hospital
• Patient population includes ED, inpatient, outpatient, trauma, and stroke cases
• Equipment includes Canon and Hitachi CT scanners and Acist injectors
• Epic EMR is used at this facility
• Monday through Thursday, 10:00 AM–8:00 PM (4x10 shifts)
• Weekend call rotation required in addition to regular schedule
• 8-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of CT technologist experience
• Hospital-based and trauma experience required
• Strong IV skills required
• Current BLS and ARRT certification with CT and Radiography credentials — RT(R)(CT)(ARRT)
• Experience with procedures and Cardiac CTA preferred
• Active license required if applicable
• US Social Security Number required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging for a diverse patient population including ED, trauma, inpatient, outpatient, and stroke cases
• Scrub color is charcoal grey
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be subject to a reduced travel pay rate
• An EKG test is required as part of the consideration process; candidates are allowed two attempts — if unsuccessful, reapplication is possible after 30 days
