Description

American Traveler is hiring a Rad Tech for a Radiology Diagnostics position requiring 2+ years of experience, with strong diagnostic imaging and ED trauma skills, working evening shifts Monday through Thursday.

Details

• Radiology Diagnostics unit within a large 800-bed acute care hospital
• Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center serving as the region's primary referral center
• Facility also houses a Level III NICU, children's hospital with pediatric ER, and the busiest robotic surgery program in the Carolinas
• Procedures include all diagnostic imaging, portable, trauma, fluoroscopic, and surgical imaging
• Equipment includes GE rad rooms, GE and Shiatzu portables, OEC C-arms, and Medtronic O-arms
• EMR: Cerner Rad Net
• Evening shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–11:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, with active experience within the last 6 months
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• Proficiency in all areas of diagnostic radiology including portable and OR imaging
• ED trauma imaging experience required
• License required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

Additional Information

• Fluoroscopic procedure experience is preferred
• Self-motivated team players who can also work independently are the best fit for this unit
• Black scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates will be considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
