Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Neuro Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position at an acute care hospital, requiring 1-2 years of experience and an active MO or compact RN license.

Details

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Neuro Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a 233-bed acute care hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• 2 shifts required every other weekend (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday depending on rotation)
• Floating required to any unit within scope, except ICU, SDU, and ED
• Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
• No on-call responsibilities
• Block scheduling is not available
• Free parking on-site

Requirements

• Active MO RN license or compact RN license valid in Missouri required; IL candidates may apply with a pending IL license
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Navy scrubs required
• Former permanent employees of any BJC facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Travelers may work at BJC facilities for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
