Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 3 years of LDRP experience and prior travel experience.

Details

Work in a Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Antepartum, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit in a suburban hospital setting located approximately one hour from both Baltimore and Washington, DC
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
Rotating weekends and holidays required; block scheduling cannot be accommodated
Cross-training across antepartum and postpartum areas is expected
No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand — no exceptions
Current BLS certification required
Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) certification required and must be in hand prior to consideration
Minimum 3 years of current, strong LDRP experience required
Acute care RN experience required
Antepartum and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) experience preferred
Prior travel nursing experience required
Two professional references required for consideration
Valid Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Additional Information

Provide nursing care across labor & delivery, recovery, antepartum, and postpartum patient populations
The surrounding area offers mountainous views, dining, shopping, parks, Civil War history, and a vibrant downtown and historic district
